Organization's sometimes want to customize the colors of a certain spec. To get to your organization's appearance page in our web application, navigate as shown below.
Once there, you will see 9 appearances that are in the sample piping_appearance.map in PTC's example spec-driven piping catalog. To add a new appearance, you have two options:
- Creo Color - managed by Creo
- This color should have a name that matches the material_label found in an appearance.dmt file or similar your organization already has setup.
- Custom Color - managed by CadActive
- This will write a new color to the piping_appearance.map file found in your master catalog and give the spec that color.
Once your appearance is defined, you can easily apply the appearance back at the Piping Spec level in RsysConfig.
