There are some application settings that CadActive Piping uses when it creates features. Either a manager or admin for your organization must set your company Piping standards. In the CadActive web interface, select Piping in the left-hand side and open the settings button (shown below).
The Piping settings should be the first items you see, nestled within the Module tab.
The settings are:
CadActive Setting | Description | Setting Value Options |
Fitting Inlet Feature Name | The name CadActive will expect the inlet Entry Port to be named, typically PORT0. | [String] |
Fitting Outlet Feature Name | The name CadActive will expect the outlet Entry Port to be named, typically PORT1. | [String] |
Fitting Branch Feature Name | The name CadActive will expect the branch Entry Port to be named, typically PORT2. | [String] |
Force Piping Feature Names | CadActive will REQUIRE fitting Entry Ports to be named as specified in the 3 settings above. | True/False |
Auto-Sync Piping Files | "When True: Allow piping data to syncronize automatically. When False: Users must manually decide when to syncronize." | True/False |
Force Users to Spec-Driven Piping | When False: Users will be able to change and control spec-driven piping using config.pro. When True: CadActive code will force users to spec-driven piping regardless of their config settings. | True/False |
Only Sync Validated Fittings | When True: Only download data for fitting models that have been validated by Creo first. When False: Download all fitting data, regardless of if it has been validated first. | True/False |
Allow User Roles to Download Piping Data | When True: Users are allowed to use the Sync Piping Data application in the CadActive Creo extension. When False: Only Admins or Collaborators are allowed to use the Sync Piping Data application in the CadActive Creo extension. | True/False |
Fitting Entry - Point Feature Suffix | The suffix used when creating Point features on Entry Ports. | [String] |
Fitting Entry - Plane Feature Suffix | The suffix used when creating Datum Plane features on Entry Ports. | [String] |
Fitting Entry - Feature Name Delimiter | The delimiter used when creating entry port feature names. | [String] |
Default STOCKNO for Fittings | Since Fittings require a STOCKNO parameter when used in a spec, what value should we use as a default? | [String] |
