CadActive Piping Settings

There are some application settings that CadActive Piping uses when it creates features. Either a manager or admin for your organization must set your company Piping standards. In the CadActive web interface, select Piping in the left-hand side and open the settings button (shown below).


The Piping settings should be the first items you see, nestled within the Module tab.


The settings are:

Fitting Inlet Feature Name

The name CadActive will expect the inlet Entry Port to be named, typically PORT0.[String]

Fitting Outlet Feature Name


The name CadActive will expect the outlet Entry Port to be named, typically PORT1.

Force Piping Feature Names

CadActive will REQUIRE fitting Entry Ports to be named as specified in the 3 settings above.True/False
Auto-Sync Piping Files

"When True: Allow piping data to syncronize automatically. When False: Users must manually decide when to syncronize."

When False: Users will be able to change and control spec-driven piping using config.pro. When True: CadActive code will force users to spec-driven piping regardless of their config settings.
